Tim McDuffey has been practicing law since graduating from law school in 1994. He has been a Partner at Bergmanis & McDuffey, L.L.C. since 1998. His primary emphasis of practice is litigation. Tim has prepared and tried Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Workers Compensation and Social Security Disability cases on behalf of injured parties.
Prior to going to law school, Tim attended Missouri State University, graduating with high honors. He played on two championship football teams at SMS, and received All-American honors. Tim also excelled academically, and received numerous awards for his academic achievements, including, being named to the GTE, Division I, Academic All-American team and being named the Outstanding Student Athlete for SMS University in 1991.
Tim attended Law School at the University of Missouri-Columbia. His grades placed him in the top ten percent of his class. He was named to the University's prestigious Law Review and was also the Recipient of the School's Professional Ethics Award.
Tim has also been active in the Missouri Bar, serving on the Young Lawyers Section Council since 2000. He has further served as a Member of the Missouri Board of Governors during the years of 2001 and 2002. Tim has lectured and written on various aspects of representing Claimants under the Missouri Workers Compensation Law.
